The Moon and the Earth

Image taken by NASA's Deep Space Climate Observatory, showing the dark side of the moon as it passes between the satellite and the earth. The edge of the moon is fuzzy because the DSCO's camera actually shoots three different images in different wavelengths of light, which are then merged; since it is programmed to stay focused on the earth, the moon is moving across its field of vision.
